Super Hands! Get yours today!

The ARCA/CRA Super Series rolled into the Berlin Raceway this past weekend for the Berlin 125.  The 101L Super Late with Joe Bush at the wheel had a very strong showing for the Racing Awareness team with a 6th place qualifying effort and finished the 125 lap feature in the 7th position.  Joe ran consistently in the top five throughout until late in the race, giving up a couple of spots just prior to the checkers.  The top five included Brian Campbell, Terry Senneker, Travis Braden, Terry VanHaitsma and Nick Gullatta.

The night’s events also included the Model Coverall Modifieds and the RA.com 97L Modified with driver, Ben Welch.  Welch had a great night posting 2nd place finish in the feature behind Ryan Hamm.  The Modified Top 5, Hamm, Welch, Billy Shotko, Billy Eppink and Adam Chase.  Hamm captured two feature wins Saturday, one in the Modified class and a second in the 4-cylinder class.  Congrats Ryan!

The three RacingAwareness.com cars are in action this Saturday June 7.  Make your plans today to attend.  Saturday’s schedule of events and ticket info available at http://www.berlinraceway.com.

The use of race cars as a marketing tool to promote and build awareness for HDVCH was also geared towards the children of the hospital.  RA has enjoyed success both on and off the track by offering experiences in motorsports to children and their families that they would otherwise most likely not be able to experience. RA Drivers: Dave Lake (left) and Lauren Bush (right)  ra5 ra4 Over the past four years, more than 2,500 patients, families and staff associated with HDVCH have visited the Berlin Raceway (and Michigan International Speedway) on behalf of Racing Awareness.  Kids and their families have experienced driver meet and greets, pace car and race car rides, ra6delivering the command to start engines, waiving the green flag, just to mention a few.   RA has even delivered the racing experience by making personal hospital and home visits to young race fans that are not able to make it to the race track.
